1. Construction Methods in Industrial Footwear
The sole attachment method dictates a safety boot's durability, weight, water-tightness, and resistance to delamination. At GUANGHE SAFETY, our Gaomi plant operates dedicated lines for all three primary industrial footwear constructions.
2. The Three Manufacturing Paradigms
1. Direct PU/PU & PU/Rubber Injection (Carousel Casting)
Liquid polyol and isocyanate are injected directly into a precision aluminum mold clamped to the lasted upper. The polyurethane expands and cures in molecular fusion with the leather fibers. Result: 100% waterproof seal, zero delamination glue lines, lightweight shock absorption, and extreme cost efficiency for container volume orders.
2. 360° Goodyear Welted Construction
A heavy-duty leather welt is stitched directly through the upper and ribbing, followed by natural cork bed filling and high-abrasion nitrile rubber outsole lock-stitching. Result: Unequaled structural stability, 300°C HRO contact heat resistance, extreme torsional rigidity for mining, and fully resolable longevity.
3. Athletic Cold-Cementing
Pre-molded supercritical E-TPU (expanded thermoplastic polyurethane) popcorn midsoles and rubber treads are bonded to lasted Flyknit uppers under 6-stage pneumatic pressure presses. Result: Ultra-lightweight athletic sneaker feel, 58%+ kinetic energy return, and rapid styling versatility.
